David Twomey is a nationally recognized expert in labor law, having been appointed to nine Presidential Emergency Boards, whose recommendations served as the basis for the resolution of major disputes in the rail and airline industries. Twomey has served as arbitrator to more than 2,000 labor-management disputes throughout the country. He has written 35 editions of textbooks on labor, employment, and business topics, the last of which was the 5th edition of聽Business Law Principles for Today's Commercial Environment聽(M.A. Jennings and S. Greene, 2017). His articles have appeared in journals such as聽The America苍听Business Law Journal, The Labor Law Journal, The Business Law review, Best鈥檚 Review, The Massachusetts Law Quarterly,聽and the聽Florida Bar Journal. Twomey is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and a member of both the Massachusetts and Florida Bars.
